About Us

Bradley's Country Store has been in the business of making homemade sausage,grits, and cornmeal since the early 1900's. We still use the same sausage recipe created by Mary Bradley in 1910 using only salt, black pepper, red pepper and sage to season the whole hog, hot-boned ground pork. There are no fillers, preservatives, or sugar in our products. Our smoked sausage is cured using only oak and green hickory wood in the smokehouse of our packing facility.

Bradley's Coarse Stone Ground Grits and Cornmeal are ground from white and yellow whole kernel Dent corn. The use of the whole kernel, including the "heart", along with the coarse grind gives our products a rich and creamy corn flavor unmatched by other products. A longer cooking time is required, but it is well worth the wait.

Bradley's Country Store was built in 1927 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The business is owned and operated by 3rd generation members of the Bradley family.
